We Believe happy healthy birds produce the best
Our Quail are fed only the best, highest quality feed. Homegrown Vegetables and Herbs. Home made Probiotic and Electolyte water. Homemade calcium using quail and chicken eggs (Our own). We treat our quail as pets first, food second. We make our own food additives for healthy birds and chicks and boost egg laying production ( backed by scientific research) .
We believe in humanely raising and culling our quail and use every single useable part we can.
A Little About Our Quail
Locally Sourced AND Hatched, Raised
We make sure we verify every breeder we buy from.
We only buy local quail from local homesteaders/hobby farmers/buy, sell and trade groups localized to Northern and Central Illinois. However, Our current birds/hatchlings/eggs are from Elgin, Dixon and Rochelle.
Each bird we have purchased and or hatched and raised has been fed the highest quality feed, homemade and grown vegetables, herbs and calcium supplements, free fed and watered.

Care
You can sleep easy knowing we only use the best products.
We use Pellet, shaving and hemp bedding that we then hot compost.
We grow our own enrichment treats and veggies/ herbs all organically and in our back yard (Seasonally- winter inside).
We make our own antibiotic and electrolyte water using herbs and spices- recipes we’ve collected from survival books, homesteading books, almanacs and old school tricks of the trade.
During cold season our Quail are housed inside a warm, nicely lighted room, where they’re currently let out to wander, play and fly a bit.
